After a few years of coming up empty-handed at local ADs, I was in NYC on Saturday for a buddy's wedding and my wife encouraged me to stop into Watches of Switzerland, where I walked out with this. Got banged by the NYC tax but love the pickup.

TFixer5 yeah the sales rep didn't even offer after I asked if he'd take a little off the retail price to combat the taxes. I knew it was a big ask given the demand for the watch.

CLTGamecock The hunting and waiting for something specific is always nice when it happens. At the end of the day it's a nice outcome and story that came about from an unexpected trip. When you're the first owner knowing what secondary and the entire watch market is facing it just make it that much more sentimental. It's always the hunt and patience for me. Now comes that stressful wait where you try not to get that first scratch on that bracelet!
