Took out the DF, played while carrying a camera, no warmup, and I didn't like what I saw.
It's not so much the perfect swings, whether they produced great flights or not, the more I become a casual golfer, I'm seeing how shaft choices affect days where your swing is just off. Does it contribute to blocking it off the planet, or help mitigate bad contact?
I didn't hit a single drive solid the entire round. Front 9 I played with the DF and was in places I haven't been in a long time (in a bad way), and the back 9 with the BF, I mishit every drive, but was in the fairway every time.
So, for now, back to the BF, it's not the longest, but for days when all the swing matchups aren't there, it helps keep the ball in play. I like that instead of going with a higher lofted head, going with a mid kick shaft is what converts the SIM into a fairway finder.
