I don't tinker as much as I think I do, mostly with shafts, but so far I'm happy with every club in the bag. It took a lot of time to decide whether to play the SIM in 9 or 10.5 but settled on 9 with some draw bias added in. This bag is pretty set, I have second bag on the west coast, going to build a third bag as the tinker set.

dphatt @Eddie I can't do one either because I've been trying to contain what's happening in my pants after seeing Ed's bag! My lawd!!! You're supposed to go see a doctor after 4 hours, right? 😅

That gfore bag is awesome.

love the different branded wedges as well

Benzo Good to see you here!

Yeah, for me wedges it all comes down to what works. Glide 2.0 one of the best wedges for full and 3/4 shots I've ever used, Vokey sand wedges I've always used well, and the hi-toe is a real fun lob wedge to hit a lot of shots with.

Eddie I’m still on the hunt for the perfect wedges. Currently have a glide forged 50°, vokey slate blue F grind 54°, and a PXG sugar daddy 59°.

@dphatt tells me artisan wedges are to die for. Keeping my eyes out, as lefties aren’t available yet.

A lot to like with your setup. Diamana’s have always worked the best for me in my woods and I’m going to have to sample their newer ones sometime soon. Love the mix of wedges and that Timeless is ridiculous. That Gambler headcover is perfection as well.

That’s an awesome Timeless

ckay That’s an awesome Timeless

Thanks, it was one of the last custom orders before the custom program was put on hiatus, I initially ordered it without my nickname, as I hated the previous three customs I ordered, but as soon as I picked it up, played it four days then dropped it back off at the studio and said stamp it with my name so I stop ho'ing putters.

The smooth feel of the Diamanas is what always brings me back to their shafts. Even their older ones stand up well over time.

I like your wedge selection too, pretty similar hahaha. I've messed around with some Artisan custom grinds, very impressed for sure.

Eddie I've messed around with some Artisan custom grinds, very impressed for sure.

Did you go get fit? order some random grinds? or how did you go about it? Dying to get down there, but they currently have this posted on their site:

"We apologize, but at this time, we are not offering Left-Handed wedges and are unsure of a time frame for introducing them."

Want to get down there bad.

@Eddie what’s the weight on the Timeless?

      ckay

344g. Most people assume with tungsten weights the head should be heavy...

But here's the back story on why my sole stamps are covered by the tungsten weights.

When I submitted my order, I asked for a 345g. For my stroke, 343-345 has been optimal for me with a d3 SW.

The soundslot was requested, and one day I got a call from Hank. He said "hey, uh we have a small problem."

He proceeded to tell me that after the beach cut, my head was in the high 330s weight range.

I had the option to have a new putter re-made, or tungsten added to the regular head to bring it up to where I wanted.

The only reason I didn't ask for a new head was because the stamping on this one was so unique, I didn't want there to be a twin floating around hahaha.

So the weights went in on top of the stamping and we got to 344g.

Eddie I like how the weights were added after the initial stamping. Gives it more of a personalized look. There have been way too many twins, triplets, etc of what really should be a one-off design lately. No fault of SC as he’s just churning out what sells, but it sucks when you pull the trigger on something unique only to see it released again a few short weeks after the fact in the gallery or M&G.

I have the itch lately, and while 009s have always worked for me I haven’t seen a 009M in person. Also the Timeless/T2 is a compelling model to me as I like the squares off aesthetic at address.

      ckay

if you like sharper edges definitely go over t2 over timeless, much sharper lines on that one. My timeless is pretty soft on the edges, similar to the buttonback, which I prefer. For me I didn’t like that the heel and toe bumpers having a contouring that makes the back not like straight at address.

So, with changes in my swing, my stock carry yardages were not consistent, but at this point they are at a comfortable repeatable point, testing both on range and and based off of on course.

I was seeing some weird gaps, and especially due to the way the 790s come loft gapped out of the box, all the gaps make sense now. I put a lot of spin on the ball so spin reduction properties of 790 are good for me, but I could use a little more spin and shaping control with scoring irons.

Going to do an experiment and blend in some p7 tws in the mid to short irons and weaken all the 790s and strengthen the TWs to blend them in. They should be coming today, excited, especially with the longer blade length that the TW's are known to have.

Does anyone else make spreadsheets with specs or am I just the only one? 🤣

Eddie I keep a notebook in my bag and hit the TM close to the end of winter, the start of summer and the start of fall.

KDBeach I don’t see any driver off the deck numbers on that sheet... 🤣

Ssssssssh that's my trade secret when trying to impress ladies at the range 🤣

Sounds like a pretty slick setup! I'd love to hit some P7tws....if only they came lefty....

And I thought I was analytical! I have yet to make a spreadsheet, but I did hand write my trackman stats (launch direction, curvature, carry) in my handmade yardage book... lol. Eddie and I would be head case's paired together. lol!
