Golfingfanatic Appreciate the look. Even though I got every single club second hand I still try to baby them as much as possible. Crown scratch would devastate me
IToldAlthea Yes, I've scratched more than a couple crowns in my time with alignment stix. It is very annoying, especially when I know better. But, you know what's even worse? Losing your grasp on your driver as you are attempting to put the headcover back on before returning it to your bag........while standing on an asphalt cart path. That REALLY leaves a mark!
ckay I've already got the super glue. I am just gonna stick those ends on. Inb4 I glue my thumb and index finger together
Looks great man!!
Made some DIY bubba whips
Came out really wel! Was it as straight forward as I think it is?
tinkerer light sand, stain, acrylic paint, wipe on poly. Simple
Where did you get your sticks from? How long are they? 48”? What about diameter?
ckay Home Depot. 98 cents a pop
48 x 3/8” and I cut them to match the length of my old normal alignment rods. Probably like 43” long
Where we are rn swing wise. would love some more feedback, always is super helpful
I guess what would also help is what swing you guys think I should look at and model
Been looking at DJ as we're both pretty lanky and I think his left wrist cupping action would help me shallow that downswing
IToldAlthea if you want to have your wrist like that just make sure you clear your hips fast enough. When you look at DJ his belt is pretty much at his target during impact. This is why he mostly hits his cut. If you start missing it left it'll be because you aren't clearing fast enough.
javivento8 I dig. been really working on hip flexibility so I can really drive them and get speed there. I already hit a cut (often gets wayward especially with the disco stick) so I feel like it can mesh well.
I love this pic too much not to post
another swing update. at this point this thread will be something fun for me to look back at later in life hopefully

Last walk of 2020!
2020 has been great for me (golf wise lol). Started seriously playing this game in February and I haven’t looked back since. My first handicap was a 27.7 in May and as we stand today, we are closing the year out with a 20.3.
bring on ‘21!
IToldAlthea Where is that? Cool looking clubhouse!
TFixer5 Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati, OH! Love the clubhouse.
So there are 36 holes, and on the course I was on this pic was at the end of 9. Below is the end of 18, love walking into the clubhouse twice.
IToldAlthea great looking clubhouse
