I generally can't remember what I shot but I can almost always remember what flat stick I used on those special occasion rounds both good and bad. There is something that gets me with the 14th club that has been an infatuation since I picked up the game. Before I start rambling on and on let's just get the eye candy started.

tinkerer It is a Scotty CT 009 that was misrepresented as a newport that I picked up a few years back off ebay. Cool from a blank cavity standpoint but nothing that crazy or unique. On the lighter <330g since it was refinished so on the lighter side of things and at my playing length of 33" probably would not work out too hot. I took a gamble and after I posted pictures a few buddies told me about this thread on TCC.

My two current sticks in the arsenal:

Old Faithful - 350g Milspec I got several years ago off TCC. It was already refinished in the Black PVD when I got it, and I added the Tiffany/White paint fill. 34.5"
My new gamer I got recently is a X5R that I sent to Bastain Milled to have a Jet Flowneck conversion and the top line added. He did awesome work, and I've got some 10g weights on the way to get it to a 365g headweight. It's got about 30* of toe hang, which fits my stroke just a touch better than a true plumber's neck, and I've really enjoyed it so far!

So I’ve only really had one putter since I’ve played, an Odyssey Mini Marxmen I picked up in grad school. I’ve thought about picking up a spider and probably will soon, but recently saw the Coronado and think it’s the first putter I’ve seen that I feel a stronger desire to get a hold of. Don’t know a lot about them but find them absolutely stunning.

philipjunior if you’re going to down the path of finding a Coronado, take your time and spend a few more dollars for an original in excellent condition. They’re only original once and by the time you factor in a refinish, you could’ve just bought a clean original.

ckay he started collecting him recently. He’s been in the putter game a while and thinks Olson shows the most promise out of anyone. I have to say he does some good work, and he entered at the perfect time... grabbed a ton of market share and stole a lot of Tyson’s clientele I think too. This guy actually makes putters. Lol

ForeLeft Yeah dude they’re pretty similar in design elements as well. I don’t know what Lamb putters price out at if you were able to place an order but I thought the price I paid for this Olson offered a tremendous amount of value. I inspected the photos pretty closely and there didn’t seem to be any finishing issues so I’m looking forward to getting it.

Based on selling prices they seem to hold value pretty well also. don’t intend on moving it along but it’s good to know that it won’t tank like a Bettinardi, Byron, etc.

I’ve been looking to get back into a 009 for quite a while now but I’ve been down that road in the past so this is a breath of fresh air.
