Eddie I think what curbed my enthusiasm for a new piece is the rapid increase in Rolex prices over the last 2.5 years. I was very used to buying new SS pieces at 15-20% off retail and gold up to 30% off. To think I have to sweet talk an associate to pay retail, or go gray and pay premium isn’t what I’m used to.
I am with you on the fork and it is a grail piece for me. Don’t know what it’ll be but there is plenty of time to work through that process. Would love to get to the forever 3 watch collection and call it a day.
Craig pull the trigger if you can get a good deal. A gold Sub is a stunner. Have you considered the Skydweller? 95% of the people you come across won’t notice, the other 5% are watch people. It is like a nice car, you think you’ll get the attention of a beautiful woman, but at the end of the day it’s kids, and other car guys 😂
