Adam Scott is hitting bombs today with autoflex. Ball speed consistently in the 180s. Maybe I can get mine to 150 😂

First time poster, first time autoflexer! Just got a 46 inch Autoflex into a G425 LST, wondering if anyone experimented with tipping it like Branden Grace? I know they recommend not to, but was curious if anyone tried it.

46 inches is far too long for me and before I cut it down, I wanted to explore the world's #1 authority on Autoflex shafts here.

iZang i tipped a fairway wood shaft an inch and it played awful. It lacked the feel of the tip flexing at impact. The ball flight was lower than my Tensei 1k.

I have been thinking about jumping on the auto flex train. Can’t seem to find a shaft I love these days. Some info below — which model would you guys recommend ?

I prefer 44.75 to 45 length
d2 ish swing weight
mid kick “blue” profiles seem to feel better to me, but could benefit from less spin.

Current shaft is Atmos Tour blue 6s - driver ss is upper 90’s low 100’s depending how the back feels 🤣

i agree with this; and the fact that he likes “soft mid” type profiles would indicate that the transition to AutoFlex might be successful.
