Adam Scott is hitting bombs today with autoflex. Ball speed consistently in the 180s. Maybe I can get mine to 150 😂

I took the AutoFlex out today to play in our men’s league and it was terrible. I just kept hitting the low pulls. I hit it in a Max LS with the back weight removed. So after the round I went back out with my gamer (Max LS with Ventus Black 6x) and it was night and day difference. Like Max said earlier, it’s fun to mess around on the range, but I could never tee it up in a serious round and have confidence in it.

The polarizing reviews on this thing blow my mind. I can say, I at least didn't have a single low pull with it. We shall see tomorrow with my second round of giving it a go.

Thanks to @Haughdaddy I was able to try the Autoflex on some Callaway heads with TrackMan to verify results.

I did get a little more clubhead speed out of it, like ₂-3 mph but it didn't translate into more ball speed. The Ventus blue 7S was a better fit for me, which was a surprise.

I’m between a +1 and a 1 with driving being a strong part of my game. Driver SS usually 107-112. Typically play a cut or straight ball but can hook it with the best of them.

i have the 505XX and played it with stock head/weight/loft (10.5) of a sim max. I hit it higher and just about the same cut/straight ball with it but just seemed to carry further. Today was very wet but had a couple laser measured 265-275 all carry drives.

it will stay in the bag. Really fun to hit!

I’m 3 rounds in with the 505xx in a couple sim2 heads. I’ve played 3 different courses. It’s progressively getting better and better. I’m enjoying it.

icec0ld i won’t be doing anymore group buys because most people can get shafts on the used market for about the same price as mine without having to wait. There is a FB page dedicated to selling AF shafts so you should look there too

Ok I’ll continue to sing the praises of the AF.

played in the Philly open Yesterday at York CC. Had to shape a variety of shots of the tee, par 70 playing 6650 or so and it was wet, so was getting no roll.

I missed 1 fairway all day and that’s because it sloped hard left and it landed comfortably in fairway and rolled into first cut.

by doing the Math via the scorecard my shortest drive of the day yesterday was 271.

TFixer5 it was solid. Nothing crazy, nothing bad. Solid shape. I probably wouldn’t take another 2.5 hour drive to play it, but glad i did. Especially in tournament conditions
