Played a twilight muni with my dad yesterday. Drove the 353y 1st pin high, middle flag. Pitch mark on the front apron. It was a straight out of the car, let me just center it and put it in a playable spot kind of swing. Two guys ahead of us couldn’t believe what just had happened as they were still putting and no way did I think I would be dropping it where I did. Had quite a bit of drives yesterday that were bombs even though the fairways were shaggy and soft. My dad was like “you’re getting older, playing less, but still getting longer. I’m getting older, playing more, and getting shorter.”
Don’t mind the plays like number in the screenshot. It must be factoring in wind right now.

Only one ball that was virtually unplayable and it was a dogleg right that I tried to draw back in from the tree line but it just hung out there and came crashing down in the woods.

And no I’m not Bryson long nor am I trying portray to be this long, but these were two holes that stuck out to me as a WTF just happened.
Current feels on Autoflex:
I can see distance is creeping up.
My misses are narrower with the exception of the one I left hanging out.
After a full round of hot and humid NY weather, I am less fatigued vs. a traditional set up.
I am having a lot of fun hitting the driver at the moment. I think there are a lot of opinions out there poo poo’ing the shaft in various forums but if you are a decent striker of the ball and can manipulate your swing a tad bit, you should see some gains somewhere in your long game. It isn’t a magic pill, but yields results given time and the work. Similar to the Stability. Won’t make a crap putter of the ball better, but can enhance one with a good skill set.
