Are there certain brands you love/hate?

I feel like I always try the newest TaylorMade Callaway or Titleist driver.

Cobra will always be on my black list for reason I won’t discuss.

Mizuno irons always intrigue me but I haven’t had a set of those since maybe the MP-60?

Ping is the same. The last club I owned from them was the G30LST. The new G425 does have me interested.

@dphatt I’ve always been a Titleist/Ping driver guy. For some reason those two companies get it right for me with the Driver. TM and Cally always have faster ball speeds but I seem to spray them all over the course unfortunately. I will say the Sim fairways are 💰.
Never have been a Cobra fan, especially now with Bryson being their golden child.

I’ll try pretty much anything from most OEM’s. There is stuff that doesn’t fit my eye or designs I don’t like but I’m willing to try, even cavity back irons 🙃

In recent years I’ve played equipment from Titleist, TM, Cally, Ping, Wilson, Honma, Fujimoto, Vega, Cleveland, Miura, Srixon, Cobra, MacGregor, NCW / Scratch, Hogan, Tour Edge, Adams and Bridgestone.

I developed a hatred for TM when i worked in a golf shop in college. Something about them is a turnoff except for golf balls. I've always gotten along with whatever the premium ball is at the time.

Callaway is one that I can't stand the marketing/branding but the clubs just flat out perform for me so I'm always torn. Occasionally they release a club that I can stand to look at. Every fitting I've had from my club guy to Club Champion

Cleveland is one I won't touch for any reason.

I’ve always had a love/hate with Titleist. Love the brand, hate the clubs. Not sure hate is the right word but can never hit their woods/irons.

Callaway is a no for me. But I’ll try an Odyssey putter. Dumb I know.

Cobra has never sniffed my bag. Used to to be extremely loyal to Titleist. Don’t have anything Titleist in the bag right now.

Ping driver is always in the bag. It’s TM everything else for the past couple years.

I despise Ping Clubs and the last Ping Item that stayed in my bag for more than a week were the Eye 2 Irons. However, I now have a G410 3 and 5 wood in the bag. Go figure.

I also won't touch anything Lamb related in terms of putters.

No interest in Callaway, don’t know, maybe I just don’t like the callaway logo font.

Don’t like cobra. Most cobra purchases tested well but never translated to the course.

Love TM and Titleist.

Ambivalent on Ping (don’t like heavy driver heads but played plenty of Ping in the past, gap wedge current is Ping.

Used to love Nike, vapor flex 440 driver I still have and hit occasionally for fun.

The one company that I am realizing I liked more than I thought I did was Adams.

driver: 9015d, speedline classic
3wd: played several of them
hybrids: can’t keep count how many variants I played
irons: the set I wish I kept was the original MB in black ion.

Depends on what club it is for me:

Driver: Titleist or Ping
Irons: Srixon or mizuno. Anything japanese forged. Would possible play titleist irons as well
Wedges: Vokeys
Putter: Anything anser2 shaped without a sightline.

If I had to play a full bag of 1 brand it’d probably be titleist but I like the shallow face of the PING fairway woods MUCH better.

Not the biggest fan of Taylormade or callaway. I’m sure I could play their clubs just fine but not the biggest fan of all their crazy marketing/branding.

Not a fan of Callaway. My last Callaway club I bagged was the Hawkeye Pro Series back in '99. I did own an Epic Flash SZ for an hour before I returned it last season.

Hot Take... But I can't stand SWAG and I do not understand why people go nuts over them. The brand name is terrible and should have been left in 2007. The skull logo is better served as a bumper sticker on a rusted out IROC Camaro.

Its a shame because the build quality and finish of the putters and headcovers look great.

I've owned around 5 sets of Mizunos and they feel no different than other forged irons to me. I dunno.

I am not big in the name of the brand but their designs are on another level to me.
