rrkman @ckay As a newer F1 fan, I really wanted to like Hamilton. Cool background story, talented, uses his platform to promote global issues that need attention, etc. but with regards to F1, there's too much of the same scenario of him being such a sore loser who is appalled that rules apply to him that I can't stand him. Both Albon incidents, Max this weekend, boxing when pit lane is closed, practice starts in dangerous areas, the list goes on and on. There are too many things borderline insanely dangerous that he does when he's getting beat.
I have a really hard time believing that all of these crashes he causes where his front hits the front of the other driver's rear tire, causes very little/no damage to the Merc and knocks the other driver out of the race/to last, are all completely unintentional. I could be wrong, but as someone who grew up racing motocross and various other racing sports, there are definitely things that people do when desperate for a pass that can be passed off as "I'm innocent" and eventually, it's not accidental anymore.
