I have an old Nike Pro Combo wedge that is like magic but it is wore out. I think I need to find a new wedge with similar weight and grind. Where do I start? I know NCW or Artisan but those seem to take forever and I am an instant gratification type guy. I always put this wedge back in the bag.
You can consider sending it out to Oughton’s golf. Have them strip the plating your groove depth may be good enough to keep it in the bag. It was $17 to have the chrome stripped on my old MP33s. Worst case scenario he can regroove them.
ckay thanks. That sounds like a great option
huntingchris0000 make sure you weigh the head also. I used anywhere from 4g to 6g of tip weights when I rebuilt my 33s. They were gamed pretty heavily and looked worn but when they came back I realized the grooves were still deep and the wear was visual.
