I get where Rory is coming from. We've seen similar comments from Scott in the past few years regarding driving the golf ball. The primo ballstrikers are hurt the most by the modern stuff.
It will be interesting to see what the ruling bodies do in the near future. I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the anchoring rule to include armlock. I think they let it slide originally, because nobody other than Kuchar did it, but as soon as you see more and more guys (especially in college/HS) pick it up the USGA will get nervous.

I couldn't help but notice Justin Rose at one time thanking Rory "for the clubs" and throughout the round it seemed as if he was talking tech alot.

I know he left Honma and games TM woods and irons, but wondering if he is going to make the full switch next year and look for that sponsorship?

off_day Technically from the way I saw it I felt like Honma was TM 2.0 when Mark King took charge and brought in some of the Taylormade brass. I figured the transition for Rose would be seamless since he used to change equipment every cycle for TM’s latest and greatest. I do wonder what caused the Rose rift with Honma.

Mark King left Honma to head Taco Bell about 6 months after Justin Rose joined Honma so that was probably the beginning of the end for the two sides there.
