This is easily my favorite course and I cannot wait to see these guys get crushed out there. I already see a lot of guys going with 7 woods and hybrids. Who do you have winning this thing? How high will the score be?

dphatt I saw a quote from the superintendent saying he was setting the course up with +8 in mind as the number. This is the kind of golf I love. I want to see pros struggle. I can't stand tournaments where everyone shoots -20. I used to use a Driver, 4 wood, 7 wood setup so I'm definitely not hating on them using 7 woods. I should probably go back to that setup to be honest haha.

Saw a quote from JT saying something like "if you want to see us struggle, this is the tourney". I can't wait. never played WF, but it looks amazing and bucket list for sure. Also, the logo is top 3 😆

Some rumours on Twitter that the head greens keeper is pissed with the USGA over the easy set up.

Golfingfanatic Guy is pissed because he got caught on camera saying he will quit if the winning score is below par. I just don't see where the set up is easy. The fairways are obviously narrow, the rough is thick and lush, and you're not baking out these greens in 70* weather in September. Pin location I can understand, but you're not pinning them on the crowns of the greens all four rounds.

Eddie I enjoyed seeing the course and how it was played by the best golfers in the world. I had to bail out early afternoon but I thought the coverage was well done.

Eddie I would watch. It is amazing the shots these guys can hit from the positions they are in. It was fun to watch.

One of the announcers was talking about the lack of carnage. Said that they were afraid they didn’t have enough daylight if it was as tough as they wanted it to be. Should be much different after the cut.

TFixer5 It isn’t the money that is an issue for those that want to join. It is being “asked” to join which is the gatekeeper. I saw the EAL video and a guy in my office made an appearance in it as he has been a generational member. Their nose up attitude is a joke and a poor representation of the club. One guy told EAL that they have a pond and a pool and EAL is more suitable for the pond.
