I agree with @Putterho I had the unfortunate situation last year where I tore a tendon in my finger which required it be stabilized in a splint for at minimum 10 weeks (with NO bending of it). I stepped away from golf and just worked on other things like focusing more on my health (riding a ton of peloton), resting my body in terms of my aching back and shoulder from golf, etc. When I finally got the splint off, I had more appreciation for my golfing time and actually enjoyed it way more than I did prior to my injury. I also stopped taking certain rounds so seriously as it was put more in perspective with my time off. Hope you get better soon!
