I am currently wearing FJ ProDry socks but I am looking to change as they are not cheap and I would prefer something without a logo. I would prefer a no show style or maybe something that just rises a touch over the shoe to prevent slipping. I have heard stance socks are not bad but they are also not cheap either. I am also intrigued by Bombas as well. I am sure there are cheaper options out there.

Asher golf are my go-tos, but they might be more than FJ.

Uniqlo are pretty good, cheap and come without any logos.

I’ve tried G/FOREs and Stance but just started wearing FJs and love them. Stance were ok and I really liked G/FOREs!

I don't skimp on socks, think they are every bit as important as good shoes. Prefer Balega.

I wear Smartwool socks and they've been very good for keeping the feet from getting wet and stinky.

My wife loves Bombas. I just get whatever no show UA or Nike at the discount stores. I do have some G4 and they’re comfortable.

We're talking about socks. I mean you guys really have that much of a preference? So you're saying I should venture past the Under Armor low cut sock 6 packs from Sam's Club for $8.99?

Putterho not if that’s what works for you, no. I walk probably 40+ rounds a year so I’m picky about socks.

Jaybananapantsarthur I'm with you my man. Socks are one of the LAST things you should try to save money on. I mean, you have no issues dropping $3500+ on a putter, $2000 on irons, etc., but you can't drop some coin on a good pair of socks? I walk most of my rounds since Covid hit and found out real quick how a good pair of socks makes a difference. I'm wearing a lot of stance tab socks for walking and love them (I wear Stance for almost everything).

srqjackson02 Do they run true to size? I am an 10.5/11 shoe and all sock companies size guide say to get a Large, but I find they are too "long" and don't fit tight. Perfect example are the Lulu Lemon Silver Socks, I always buy Medium because they fit snug and the L/XL are too baggy if that makes sense! Let me know as I would like to order some of these soon!

Just more of my experience with sizing. The more the padding, the less snug they are but not so much that they droop or slide down in shoes. Also, the less the padding the more the elasticity/snug they are.

I'm 12.5/13 in most shoes, Balega sizing recommends XL and that's what I order and have never had any issues with the 25 pairs or so that I own.

Love love love Bombas. Not sure I could wear anything else. Would just say don’t get them wet. If they do, change your socks. LT. Dan was right.

Ummm yes. I got my Balegas in and they are the greatest thing since leather stitchback putter grips. I ordered 12 more pairs. I got the Zulu's and the hidden dry. It was like walking on clouds yesterday .........

Putterho only on this site will I be persuaded into buying designer socks. I look at my otherwise nice golf wardrobe and scoff at the fact that it’s mostly Nike and UA and not some boutique brand. Terrible guys...terrible.

Today was the first round with the Bombas. I walked 18 holes and it’s one of the first times in a while that my feet didn’t hurt after the round. I was wearing the same shoes I have worn all year. I just dumped the sock drawer and will be adding more of these.

I am gonna try the no shows tomorrow to see how those are. I have yet to find a pair of those that I really like.
