I want one of these so bad. The dudes at my club would roast me strapping it on at the range tho lol

IToldAlthea they can roast me all they want but when they see the ball flight, all I do is turn around and ask them how much they want to play for. No one wants the smoke when they see the Course Record 62. lololol

    ForeLeft

If someone roasts you, just say "are you even about that SCOOBIE LIFE BRUH??" 🀣

A lot of good stuff in your review I want to comb and respond inline to, will post again later. A good left bend will definitely help get rid of rope hooks due to early spinal extension for sure. I'm a nerd for all that flexion jargon and positions, so I'll get in depth with you soon.

Eddie I love it! Super excited. I have a lot to learn when it comes to all that jargon!

Might just need to get a box of scoobie snacks and put them by my bag. πŸ˜† 🀣

ForeLeft lol see, you've got that in your arsenal. They can just look up my 27.6 hci on the GHIN hahahah

ForeLeft Since you played in college and still shoot under par regularly, would you say that you don't have any physical issues getting into the positions that Gankas prescribes?

My attempts to get Gucci and scooshie left me in the care of a surgeon. I'm not joking, unfortunately.

OffTheDole It was actually very tough at first. I played college golf from 2008-2012 so it's been a WHILE. haha. I actually have two extra cervical ribs and am prone to pinched nerves in my neck and shoulders. I foam roll like every day working on my ability to externally rotate my shoulders. I'm so inflexible it's not even funny. I am the definition of Dad Bod!

But...once you understand the right bend, it makes the turning so much easier. if you just try to do it with your upper body...it's not possible.

I would say I've made massive strides in just 2 sessions with the G box thus far...

First picture indoors is my normal swing (although this is from 2017...I dont video my swing very much).
Second picture is yesterday, and you can see the difference in the Turn.

I dont have the white line to the ball yet, I lack mobility.... and my lead foot is off the ground a ton (only way I can do it), and this is how Wolff swings...must be ok, right? lol.

Swing feels very good (even though it may not look good πŸ˜… ). I can tell I've picked up a ton of speed, and every shot is flush. I can honestly say I've never hit the ball this well, and I've never been this excited to practice every day.

It's not how, it's how many! lol.

    2017

    VS Today

3 days work and I've seen immense changes in swing. It's unbelievable. I'm a full believer in the G box.

The amount of increased turn, impact position, where my weight is at (top of swing and impact). I can't believe it. I've picked up a ton of speed, and my ball striking is the best I've ever had. Will post videos when that get's dialed in by IT.

I’m tempted to order one. Out of stock and only available to preorder. Wonder how long it takes.

ForeLeft mine came in earlier this week and I have found basically the exact same results. This thing flat out works.

    6 days later

    Rotation!

Just waiting for @Eddie to make fun of me (in light heartedness) about getting Scoobie. lolol.

Apologize for the wind. it's crazy windy up in northern Minnesota.

Can't wait to get this this out tonight and test out my new shaft in my driver.

Ok, first off, I love the change in your pelvic extension on the way back, it's got to feel liberating right?

Just for the record, I don't hate Gankas. I think he's brilliant.

I spent a few years rebuilding my core understanding of the golf swing and how to break it down with a contemporary of Gankas, so what I applaud him for the most is simplifying a lot of positions and body concepts through his teachings. Also, some of the young pros I help have spent time with him so I've gotten some insight to what he teaches in person as well. The only thing that I would critique is his demanding of all his students to create certain wrist conditions, because his teachings do scale across various conditions and grips.

I'm not going to chime in on what I see and what I would recommend because that is totally not my place LOL.

I would say the only thing to keep wary of is the lead knee in the backswing, it flexing forward as you go into your lateral bend is ok, but you want it to also pivot towards your trail hip in the process (and while it looks like the knee, it's actually the groin socket that pivots inward), if you leave your lead knee just flexing without pivoting, you can very easily fall into a trap having your weight stacked on that lead knee, leaving you inhibited in creating trail side bend on the way down.

I love what I see though, and I think you are just scratching the surface in terms of generating more speed on the way down, based off of your P6-P7 positioning. Looking forward to seeing you getting deeper in that tilt over time homie. Scoooooobieeee lol

Eddie we need to get on a FaceTime to get deeper in this. I promise it won’t be 2 hours like Don πŸ˜‚

Eddie the only thing to keep wary of is the lead knee in the backswing

For right now, that's the only way I can make the full turn. I need to really dive into this further and figure out how to turn. Really appreciate the in depth viewpoint. Open to any and all suggestions. Always improving!
