During a conversation last week on the origin of a certain screen name it got me thinking. What’s the origin of yours? Some are clearly obvious, but tell us.... Mine is the initial of my first name and the nickname I had growing up followed by “usual” score on golf hole regardless of par.

I think I started the bjt email back in high school? No idea why the name for the email, I honestly can’t remember. As for the screen name, it just made it easier to remember. Started on TCC with it, maybe 2012? WRX I think? Rarely use that. And now here. More for identity purposes, I know a lot of guys here are from TCC and it’s just easy to recognize like, “oh THAT guy! Man, huge asshole, hate that guy.” 😂😂😂 Hopefully not that though 😂. IG is easier... “hou2hwood” = Houston to Hollywood

Mine can't be more obvious, lol. Created this back in like 2001 for use on good old AOL instant messenger. Was a kid then, dreaming of being good enough to play Titleist Forged blades.

Many years later, I realized that dream. Well, maybe not "good enough", but at least I was able to buy them for myself 😅

Back in the day - we were partying at a friend's place. His dad couldn't pronounce my name for the life of him and started calling me "Sookay" (my name is SeokJin... big difference, I know 😂)

Long story short everyone started calling me Sookay and I ended up with "it's sookay". People also read it as "its so okay" which works out just fine for me as well 🤷‍♂️

In 1995ish, when I was setting up my AOL screen name, I wanted a name with no numbers or extras on the end. My dad worked at Pepsi, so we had a plethora of soda around the house. I may have been known to partake in a soda or two.

In the past 5 years I've had about 5 total sodas, but Chang Bae still calls me Pepsi so the name stays. 😁

It's my IG Handle - created the page over a year ago as a creative outlet and continuing to try to grow the following, hoping people enjoy the photos, but more so started from boredom at my last job and needed a side project that entertained me and kept me busy - turns out it led to some serious club/gear ho'ing, but I really enjoy that aspect of the game and have met some incredible people through IG and been lucky enough to play with quite a few of them now

Mine started as tongue in cheek and then I just ran with it. Was inducted into my college HOF a couple years back. Couple of my boys (most of whom are on this page) started calling me "Da' HOF" (I'm sure to bust my balls). So, I just adopted it and went with it. Embrace the hate as they say 😆
