I am on the hunt for some new irons, I really like the turf interaction of a thinner sole but given my scores I should stay far away from blades. 13 -15 handicap currently Is there a set of players irons that you like/ have used with a thinner sole that still offers some forgiveness? Needs to be available in lefty!

pfdz The V sole in Srixon's (regardless of SGI, GI, or bade) are remarkable. Always saw people improve their turf interaction and ball striking with those. Nothing but good reviews.

ForeLeft Mizuno 900 forged had something similar and was a great seller too that you could get at a great price now that its 4 years old or so.

ForeLeft funny you mention Srixon. I currently game the z565 and absolutely love the feeling of them however the Vsole is what drives me crazy. Maybe I should try the 7 series?
