In the search for the perfect set of irons, I'm going to build a combo set of some different Titleist variants, long and mid irons are decided, and am looking to go MB in the short irons, which are the best in recent range?

Having owned anything they’ve made in last five years blade wise, 620 and it’s not even close IMO outside of satin vs chrome. Much of my opinion is subjective because a big part of it for me is what I see when I look down at a blade.

Moni_SLO haven't hit but a lot of what I've read in reviews is that they are so close to T100 that why bother when the T100 are slightly more forgiving.

Jaybananapantsarthur good info homie! I just need to bite the damn bullet and get fitted. Historically I have been a TM guy but I need someone to just tell me what I hit best and what shafts I need so I can spend my non-existent stimulus check on a custom build to have for the rest of my life.....probably just go graphite now so I don't have to get more clubs in 20 years lol

The best Titleist blade to have come out is the 620 but they are still not as soft as Mizuno or Srixon blades.

The new 620’s look amazing and feel great. I still love the feel of my 680’s too and will probably rotate the two from time to time.

I used to have 690MBs (in fact, those are why I made my handle name as a kid. Absolutely lusted over them then. Made it a reality as an adult). They were buttery soft, but super old specs. Regret selling.

My +1 is for the 620MB. They do look amazing, so clean. Eventually when I get better I'll upgrade from my 718 AP2 to a set.

Putterho 😅 this user name has been my identity on the internet for quite some time. from car forums, golf forums, social media, etc.

I've kinda shoehorned myself into only having Titleist forged irons though. Always my excuse to buy a set!
