My favorite golf ball ever was TP RED LDP, that ball was amazing.

Noooo. CB1 < CTU 30 red. perfect combo of spin and distance at the time. CTU 30 blue was the first ball I could spin back 15 feet and think it was cool
Titleist Tour Balata. Nothing like a low riser with a 2 iron off the tee. Best flight in the game. I played Professional 90 and great ball but doesn’t touch today’s ball from a performance and durability perspective.
ckay I loved the old balls, but at the same time....I don't miss having to replace a ProV every time you hit a wedge.
ForeLeft every 3 holes for me in my Jr days. All I asked for was Professional 90s for birthdays and Christmas and most of my chores money went to them so I had fresh balls for tournaments. Outside of tournament play I would play out of round balls with cut covers to preserve my year’s stash LOL.
Maxfli Revolution and Titleist DT Wound both sounded great off the deck of the lawn mower back in the day.
