ForeLeft I test drivers in a standard setting to see what I’m working with. I don’t want to max out a setting to make a club work. I feel like I should be able to hit it well enough in standard form and tweak from there after a warm up. The shaft I had in it was a HZRDUS Black.
With the adjustability of clubs I only adjust sole weights to compensate for natural tendencies of side dispersion. I don’t think I’ve ever played an adaptor setting other than standard. I don’t need the absolute best numbers but just a dependable flight.
It was clear from the jump the EF was not it for me. I did hit a few bombs but last thing anyone that has a hook miss needs is that in the back of their mind. I’ve fought it for seasons, and am now in a great spot with the swing and especially mentally that I rarely think about missing left off of the tee.
