Bro. Stability Shaft... How is it? Worth the cost? Been looking at those since last year! Would be put on a Spider also.

bigjohntripod I absolutely love it. I was very skeptical at first but once I put it in I started making more putts. I tried it in a blade and hated it. I also tried the tour version because it looked better but the results were not great. I have a backup SpiderX with the stock shaft and you can definitely feel the weight and stiffness of the stability over the KBS shaft

dphatt The install on a spider is different no? Because of the double bend?

I have a backup Spider and a KBS “putter shaft”. If you installed the KBS and chopped it, the Stability shaft would go over it right?

And what’s that Stability shaft price? 👀😬

bigjohntripod the single bend or face balanced model uses the .390 diameter. You have to cut the existing shaft and slide the stability shaft over it. The flow neck versions are .370 and come with a tip that replaces the old shaft

Golfingfanatic I was skeptical about it when I first got it. It is tiny. The first few shots included a few hosel rockets which was discouraging but once I got into a groove it was pretty good. After hitting 30 balls, it makes my current clubs look super easy to hit. I recommend it.

Golfingfanatic I hit it a few weeks ago when playing with @dphatt and it’s a great training club. Only hit one ball and it was better than my iron shot. Beginners luck!

Gonna give these a try. I will hold off on the driver shaft for now. The three wood will get a test today. Tipping 1in at 43.25.

I hit the three wood with the ventus today. This shaft is just so good. All it wants to do is go straight. I hit a few shots today that I thought would be a little left and I look up and it was down the middle with better height than the DI7. Why couldn’t Fuji do some better graphics with this shaft???

I love this bag...how do you like the sim 3w?

It looks like the Ventus will take the place of the DI7. The DI7 had the occasionally left miss while the Ventus wants to go straight or even a touch right. The ball flight with the Ventus is also a little higher too. Both shafts were tipped an inch and they are playing the same length.
