      I put a new Autoflex 505xx into the Epic Speed LS last night and took it out to the course today. This club was on a very short leash as I already didn’t like the head after one round with it. First shot on the range. Whoa!!! What was that? Dead straight and great height. I hit a few more and the same. I hit it hard and it was still straight. Sure sure. Range balls always go straight. So onto the course. I won’t bore you with details but the TSi3 didn’t see a single ball on the course. I outdrove @bogeysandbeers on a few holes too 😉. Honeymoon period? Absolutely. But I was impressed today and it might go into the bag for the WMGA Mid Am on Tuesday.

      I recently sold my ZXU to @bogeysandbeers and I was going to get my backup ZXU bent and gripped to match the old one. I took my old U500 to see how it compared again after a few months of not using it. Well guess what won. The U500.

      I also took my 009 to change the grip back to the old baby T. After trying a few putts I seemed to make everything so that wasn’t changed either.

      The next thing I wanted to test was the ESTDLS and the AF since it was one of the issues yesterday. It was still widely inaccurate with shots going high or low and straight or right. This was the best one with this combo.

      I also brought out old trusty which is the Epic Flash Triple Diamond with the Accra TZ6. No matter what I did this club wanted to go straight and I will probably play this head until it caves. As you can see not a big difference in numbers from the ESTDLS combo but it was much straighter.

      So for shits and giggle I put the EFTD head onto the AF to see what it would do. I knew the head would be heavy since it was already D5 with the Accra. I didn’t think I would hit more than 2-3 balls with this combo. The first swing was a bomb and it was dead straight. The shaft didn’t even feel soft like I though it would with the heavier head. The more I hit it the more I was shocked.

      So I am going with three old clubs tomorrow. I should just throw in the P790s while I am at it and go low lol.

      The first two drives today with the EFTD and the AF were dead right and I told @bogeysandbeers that this club is on a very short leash. After that it was automatic, long drives, controlled cuts anything I asked it to do it did it. We played 27 holes and I could not be more happier with this combo. I am gonna play this head until it breaks. Nothing can beat it and I need to beat this into my stubborn head. Here is a list of drivers I have purchased since owning the head. I am sure I will miss some.

      I also took the 009 out and I made some pretty good putts today considering I never putt well on this course. I might have to give it a few more reps to see if I will keep it in the bag for a bit. It made some clutch putts against @vincent and @tgleex 😉

          True words. Worked with my 4i when I finally decided to buy a hybrid. All of a sudden it came alive and started producing again 🤷‍♂️

            Autoflex EFTD combo is so good. I have not hit the ball this good with a driver in a long time. My playing partner played with me today and yesterday and he said it just like point and shoot. I have a fairway wood shaft coming now.

            The 009 just keeps making putts. This might stay in the bag through tournament season if greens stay quick.

              dphatt I remember a certain 5i from 190 into the wind to a shallow ass green. Landed like a feather for an easy birdie. P790 if I remember correctly.
