Let me preface this with I absolutely HATE needles. But, every damn time I get stuck (twice this year!) I have to watch. I don’t get it.

First was a cortisone shot into my hand in late January. Took maybe 5min to drain it all inside my hand. That was just absolutely awful to watch. But..... I had to watch it.

Second was 10min ago. Get blood drawn for something I can’t pronounce to see if I’m a carrier 🤷‍♂️ Bet it comes back positive for being a shitty golfer. But seriously, I had to watch.

I don’t understand why I need to watch it. Maybe so it’s not unexpected? Like, I feel like if I get stuck and can’t see, I’ll turn around with an Austin Powers like judo chop to the guy/girls throat? I don’t know. I just know I fucking hate needles. I don’t super freak out, it’s like golf, I’m probably the coolest guy on the course to card an 85 but, inside, I’m on the edge of a cliff, chopping one finger off at a time. Fuck it, I’m going to lunch.

I did some lead taping tonight, two pieces each club (D, 1i). Each piece is 2g. We’ll see what 4g does Sunday. I gotta say, my 1i now feels like my 4i and I really like the weight. Driver feels solid also. May lose some speed but, if it goes straight, I don’t give a shit.
