Was an early adopter of GPS with SkyCaddie and it likely soured me on GPS for golf. I loved the idea of having the hole map and green views when playing new courses. I'm sure it's a better overall experience today with GPS but I don't see moving away from laser.
I have tried both and I will always be a laser guy. Imagine showing up to a course and it doesn’t show up on the GPS. I also travel abroad a lot too so having a laser takes out that possibility.
I am a laser guy, too. Use it quite a bit on the range, aswell.
Due to my level of play and accuracy a laser is the only way to go.
djaveragejoe 🤣
I like both. Usually use my phone for gps and laser for precision
Laser Dr. Evil voice until about 100 yards. Then it’s all feelz.
You guys aren’t doing it right.
this is how you do it.
get to your ball and look like you are looking for something and just ask your playing partner to give you a distance in the interest of fast play.
works like a charm.
The real question is why can’t the guys on Tour use them.
ForeLeft have you lost your mind? That would speed up play and take away television revenues.
I personally enjoy the yardage books and pin sheets 😂. Pacing off, all that good stuff, love it.
During competition rounds

You leave me and my yardage books alone!
bigjohntripod yardage books for style. Laser for accuracy
🤣🤣🤣🤣
100% laser, GPS doesn't give me enough. I usually take 2 quick numbers on each approach shot, one to the pin and one to carry the front edge or bunker etc. Used Bushnell lasers for a long time and have a ProXE coming.
