Pinehurst Trip

Hey Boys,

I'm heading down to Pinehurst in late August with some buddies. I have never been before and want to see if any of you have some recommendations?

We will be playing 2,4,5,8 as part of our package. I cannot wait. I am debating playing the US Open tees (if they allow it) just to see what kind of a monster No 2 really is. Any input is appreciated whether its food, drinks, golf, things in the nearby area.

maxbianchi I did a trip out there a couple years ago with a buddy, Couldn't believe how cheap lodging was around there honestly. Our condo was on #6 I believe. The horse track has a great breakfast joint if it is back open and The Deuce has a great bar/restaurant that you'll likely check out multiple times. Sadly the Cradle wasn't open when I was there but I've heard it is a must. If you cruise into town there are plenty of little bars and places to eat.

We also golfed Forest Creek since I knew a member and that place was awesome. Also hit up Pine Needles which was great and CCNC through my buddy's reciprocal. Have a blast dude and if you want a ton of recommendations hit up putterkid (also Max) on Instagram as he was working there not too long ago and knows the place real well.

Are you guys going to Airbnb or stay on site?

Putterho we are going to do a condo on site. Seemed like the best option to get the resort experience.
