So short story and not going to mention any names and please this is my personal opinion and if someone is your friend or you want to stick up for them, I ain’t mad at ya!
One guy does fundraiser. Grabs places for donation to fundraiser and sells tickets to get in fundraiser for a fairly large chunk. Collects a lot of money. Sits on money. Gets questioned about where everything is and then 3 days later all of a sudden has a place to donate money. Coincidence? I doubt. Do I think there was malicious content and trying to style, I doubt. It’s just all the drama rubbed me in such a bad way. If you’re going to do something right and it takes time, I get it. But to just all of a sudden have it complete after someone says something, just irks me a bit. Def a no win situation in a poorly managed situation. There’s been a loss of respect for me.
Where does TBC come into play? Eh there were some comments that were left on some posts that I wasn’t a big fan of. They have been deleted. I don’t even know the other party so it’s not like I’m taking it personal or anything like that. I just think there was a lot of tasteless things being thrown out there and I’m just choosing not to help support those endeavors anymore.
I’m not getting into the question of did the support for TBC fund this complete other project because I have no clue and honestly don’t care.
Again, not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings. I’m not a huge fundraiser guy anyways. I hate places that ask you for donations to collect XXX amount of dollars that their then organization donates and then writes off that donation with your money. Prob a different conversation.
