So my thoughts are this. I think it's funny how salty the PGA tour is being about this. Paying Golf Digest and other outlets to post about how bad this is for golf.
TBH I could care less. I just want to watch exciting golf.
The one thing that does intrigue me is the "team aspect" of it all. Being able to root for a certain team could be really fun. Almost like when you draft players for your pool during Major weeks and such, but you'd get to root for groups of people on a weekly basis. I don't follow F1, but it sounds like that's kind the play there?
I think if executed correctly, it could be really cool...but I think the Tour holds too much power right now paying off people for negative press, as well as giving a lifetime Ban if you join the the SGL...might not get off the ground.
