Final fitting thoughts

Went to club champion and got a fitting. Between 3 club heads. The Fitter wasn't very helpful with a final recommendation and wasn't very knowledgeable with some of the club heads. He wasn't aware of the mizuno heads and the purpose if each.

Anyway, I was hoping to throw these out to you all to help. Cobra LTDx is green, Cobra LTDx LS is orange, mizuno is blue. I took out the very bad strikes so this is a fair Club head comparison

More ball speed and lower launch with the Cobra LS, better dispersion and higher launch with the mizuno, spin about the same. The Cobra X was good, but behind the other 2.

ssacks I would go get fit again somewhere else. Where those the only shaft options you tried? Where the lofts the same as the Mizuno and LTDx LS? Looks like you hit up on the Mizuno more then the Cobra. Mizuno has a more cosistent spin, but this could be a shaft to head problem. I would definitely try and find a better fitter. From this data though you are more accurate and consistent with the mizuno.

iennis club champion does it where you pick a shaft with your gamer, then use that shaft to try a bunch of heads. i asked if they change the shaft again once we pick a head and he said that the heads are relatively the same weight and changing the shaft wouldn't really change the results too much. i think this is across the board at club champion.

ssacks Yeah I would go get fit somewhere else. I know some Club Champions have better fitters then others. Big Red Flag is him not knowing anything about the difference in heads.

Terrible if true.

When I used to fit, I’d grab 5-6 shafts and 3-4 heads. Try them all. A shaft could work/perform completely different in different heads.

People actually pay for Mizuno drivers? I always figured if I saw someone using one they were A) on staff getting paid to use it or B) lost a bet.

Rickyhosel68 i tried taylormade and callaway in this fitting too. taylormade didn't work for me at all. callaway was ok, but i didn't like the feel on off center hits. ball speed wasn't great either. these 3 setups gave me the best numbers.

Rickyhosel68 last year’s ST-Z was as good as anything on the market. Shockingly good.

Chubbs01 Im going to order the stz 220 today. vowing to not make any changes this entire year to the setup 😆 🤣
