Have a 21* coming bent 1* strong and 1* flat. Going to be putting a Ventus Black 10X or a Tensei Pro Orange 90TX in it. anyone else gaming one already or have one coming. What’s you set up?

17 degree with a slightly lighter weight to accommodate my mcc grip which is lighter than std. I basically use mine as a forgiving driving iron to use off the tee on short par4s. This might be replacing the mini driver as secondary off the tee club.

19° standard settings with Hzrdus smoke green 70X

Eddie yeah mine will battle with the driving iron and 7 wood for the spot in the bag. Think it will be more workable than the 7 wood and likely just as good out of the rough.

Got a 19 degree with a Tour AD DI 8s. It's going to be my main off-the-deck club for any long shots into greens. It's going to be replacing my 7 wood.

19 and 21 with trono 75. Looking for an easy club off the deck. Not sure if 19 or 21 will fit the gap better.

Picked up a stock 19* x flex from roger dunn. the shaft flex is completely underneath the grip. Is that normal for the stock setup? I also thought it was the 80g shaft for the x flex, but it says 70g x flex 6.5 under the grip. Also seems like the shaft was untipped with that much space between the hosel and the shaft lettering. Thought I read somewhere these UW's had shaft tipping of 1.75"?

bruinmw that definitely looks a touch off. I would say that is for sure untipped, and the shaft flex not being visible is definitely different than anything I’ve seen on the rack.

bruinmw I'm curious, what's the length of it? Since all of the UW's are .355 I'm assuming someone just didn't tip it during assembly. I would certainly exchange it.

Used this off the tee on 4 holes and hit bullets with it, love it.

17 degree, I remain that it hits the ball low. I dropped a few balls out of the short rough to test it, and it definitely comes out fine, but at 17 degrees it comes out hot, so 19 should still do the trick as a 5 wood replacement, but for me I use this as a driving club so I’m happy with a flat ball flight.

still absolutely loving this setup. Hit it for first time outdoors in Georgia back in November. Everything I've been seeing on my Gc3 was identical down there. Can not wait for this golf season. Going to be a weapon out there.

Anyone have heavier weights that fit the Apex? I bought some from bob's golf or whatever its called and they don't fit.

I'm not picky about the quality of my weights as long as they fit, so I usually just go on ebay. If its shipping from China, it will take 2 weeks to get it though. I haven't tried heavier ones myself, been going lighter.

Did you get the weights that fit the epic fairways? I had an old 2g weight I took out of an EF subzero 3 wood, and it fit fine. Swignweight of the UW came in about D5.5 with the stock rdx. Reshafted with an oban revenge 8s that I happened to have as I didn't get along with the black rdx. Swingweight was almost D6 with the oban, so had to go lighter. Verdict still out on the oban revenge in the UW.

I was curious and tried one on trackman. 19 degree with the stock rdx 6.5x………holy hellcat this thing has gas. 19 is usually a 250 club for me and I was flying it 265 and was rolling out another 10ish. Might need a 21 to replace my 2 iron 505

Golf33 it’s an unusual combination of speed and spin retention. Makes it a very useful tool.

I’m thinking of going to a 80gram ish shaft in the 19 degree head. Little lost on how much I should be tipping in this short of a club though since the head is so heavy.

put in the graphite design tour ad HD 7x in last night. excited to try it out today. loved the shaft in my driver, so hopefully it translates to the apex

This club has been hot and cold for me.

I've put a diamond bf70 in it, and while there are some great shots, and the light makes it easy to hit half swing chops and recovery shots with, I still feel a little lost with it.

Might go up to 80g weight class shaft.

What weight class shafts do you have in yours?

Eddie Same with me. I hit it good on the range, about as good as my TM SIM Max, but on the course, mixed results. Some very good, some not very good, especially off the tee. This club really works well for me off the ground, but cannot for the life of me hit a good tee shot with it. TM SIM Max hybrid clicks all the boxes for me still. As of now, I'll give it a few more rounds, but have a feeling the TM SIM Max hybrid will be back in the bag eventually. I'm just not seeing the consistent results everyone else is that loves this club. Maybe I'll go for one more reshaft.
