So i've torn both my knees apart in the past from various sports and since those, I don't squat anymore. The incline leg press, as soft as it may sound, did wonders for me. Load up the plates on the incline and start buying 7 inch shorts!
Good call on nixing the squats, maxbianchi.
I was doing Stronglifts 5x5 a while back and picked up some speed. Then I did a squat session that tweaked my back, pushing through when I should have stopped. Took months to recover.
OffTheDole squats are highly overrated in my opinion
maxbianchi And I think they’re the best thing you can do, however also the easiest way to injure yourself. Maybe try front squats to move the load forward.
TFixer5 I'll give that a go. I do need some extra yards too
@TFixer5 loves moving loads

Pick up 5 MPH in ball speed off the driver. Hoping to do that with a combination of exercise, mobility/flexibility training, technique, and maybe a new shaft/head combo.
Fix my lead hand golf grip. It has always been a bit weak and the main cause for the errant flare right. In terms of developing the right feel at home, I am comfortable with it, but when I get out to the golf course I revert back.
My putting. Those of you who play with me will know that I line my ball up, walk up to it, no practice stroke, and putt while looking at the hole. I started doing that because it helped me clear my mind and putt freely. I can't for the life of me look at the ball and putt decently, I need to break this dependency on looking away from the ball.
Pre shot routine. I've struggled with finding a walk into the ball routine that makes me feel comfortable. At the range, I typically setup just fine, but out on the course, find myself occasionally feeling incredibly misaligned. Need to break that shit down and figure out how to bridge that gap.
Try to play once a week. This will be the hard one, but when you play once every three weeks, none of the above ever works out.
Eddie I need to break this dependency on looking away from the ball.
If it works, why mess with it?

When I’m around friends it’s fine, but when playing with clients or friends of friends I always get the “you trying to show off or something” look… little do they know it’s bourne out of necessity 🤣
Why about looking to a spot 6-8” in front of the ball and putting to that spot. That way it’s a happy medium of not looking at the ball and not showing off looking at the hole
