Im exited to play the course and im sure many of you would love the opportunity to play one of the best courses around. my friend played there last week and said its the real deal. they have hosted the senior pga a few years ago

dbenick3 I also have to say I do believe I will eventually get to play it. But if you said I was basically a member for a day with full access I don’t think I’d turn down many numbers below $5k.

There’s just a problem with doing it that way. It will be very tough for it to be worth that kind of money. But it’s just money. You can always find a way to make more of it.

Noyes26 Yup, and I was OK with the cost to do so. I thought Sleepy was a bit overrated to be honest but I didn’t regret paying to play and would give it another whirl given the chance. Would do the same and pay to play Winged Foot to scratch the itch.

Although it is a little forward to ask me to setup an event for you guys, I'm up for it if there is enough interest.

My one stipulation if Don and I setup a DC area event is that @DaHOF must attend, aka it has to be a date that works with his schedule.

To be honest, we've always been a little apprehensive about doing a DC area event because it could come across as being done merely for our convenience, location wise.

I'll find out some details and let you guys know.

Winged foot (either course) was not a place I’d not play again. It’s flat, back and forth and full of concrete cart paths. Sorry but it’s old and prestigious but not very good imo. I think Bulle rock is a better design
