Rain Gear

Since it’s raining today I was thinking about what rain gear has been the best for me. I have owned FJ, Nike, UA, Zero Restriction, Pro Quip, Sun Mountain, Peak Performance and Galvin Green. The best for me was Galvin Green because it wasn’t baggy and I felt like I could swing in it. I have always wanted to try KJus but I just cannot justify their pricing.

What do you guys use?

I was in the oakmont pro shop (first time i saw Kjus) and tried on their vest and thought wow this is absolutely amazing...I’ll just say it made the $180 RLX vest I ended up buying, feel like a steal.

I still own a pair of Goretex (the OG) from high school but they are baggy as heck. Foot joy is average and seems to lose its waterproof after 2 years. A couple years ago I pulled the trigger on a full suit of Galvin and Green and I’ll never look back. It’s the coolest looking, best fitting, and top notch rain gear I’ve ever put on. 10/10 would recommend G&G!

I want to try Galvin Green so damn bad but already have a set of JL, RLX, and Zero Restrictions. The only blaring crap I've ever used was Nike Storm and Travis Mathew rain gear. I think as long as its not washed and you aren't in Bandon then you're pretty safe with most.

Sunice jacket, ZR goretex pants... never any issues with either

So far the ZR has held up...much better than my FJ!

CKirsch Just keep a list of the Sorel boots or shoes she wants and it evens out. That's what I do! 😅
