Hola Amigos! So I was lucky enough to get gifted a Venus 5S Red, and I already had the 6S Blue. I've always hated hitting driver so really looking to make a change and stick with it. Took then to hit today on trackman and was quite surprised... Below are averages on 10 shots (5 with each at a time.) Longest carry, by a long shot, was with the red (on my last shot), but the longest total was with the blue. My miss with the red was high and spinny (over 3.3k) and my miss with the blue was a little hook. However, I know that when I get really tired, my swing speed will drop a lot and my miss with both will be really spinny. Looking at the numbers, stick with the blue, red, or look at the blue 5s/red6s? Blue 6S Swing Speed 96.2 Ball Speed 142.8 Carry 233 Total 275 Spin 2725 Launch 12.3 Red 5S Swing Speed 94.2 Ball Speed 141.1 Carry 230.3 Total 272.2 Spin 2240 Launch 12.5

kmac03 what machine are you using to get these numbers? The roll numbers are not realistic. Based on the launch and spin numbers I would go with the red. The blue might be too stiff and you are not loading it so it’s giving you higher spin

dphatt trackman, indoors. Height for both was like 62-64ish, just not launching it.

kmac03 something is off here. Trackman shouldn’t show this much roll with those numbers. Can you get a screen grab from the actual Trackman showing all of your numbers with attack angle and swing path?

Also realized there’s a typo. Blue spin was 2275* so virtually identical.

what’s interesting is that my Arccos numbers show my drives in this range and it only measures total, but I know it doesn’t roll out that much.

With these numbers in mind, any thoughts on if a Red 6 or a Blue 5 would be better? May be able to get my hands on one more…

I would go with the red. Your spin is already low even when you go over the top. If you were to ever hit a draw the spin may be too low to stay in the air. Even at 60+ feet in the air that’s too low so anything to get your launch up would help

dphatt roger that! Would you explore the 6S at all or stick with the 5?

also, any idea what could cause that much roll out? I just emailed trackman with the same question.

kmac03 can you send the whole Trackman data. I want to see all of the numbers. I don’t see anything wrong with the red 5s to say the 6s would give you an improvement
