Side Saddle Putter. The 27 most miserable holes of golf in my life.

1) All 3 TM spider putters I have owned 2) Ping G410 LST, loved that club. Unfortunately broke 4 different shafts in that head so not sure what the deal was. 3) Scotty circle T x5. It was sweet, but had welded flow neck (JT style) and that's about the worst fit possible for me. 4) The 500 different golf bags I have owned in the last two years

Mizuno JPX 800 Pro irons - Game improvement whatever; My MP-14s were way better Nike Counterflex B1-01 putter @ 38" - Couldn't make anything with it at all and was slicing my putts A new screw for my old Cobra BioCell+ fairway wood - turned out to be the wrong size and now I'll never be able to take the club apart

A Toulon Indianapolis. Bought it on a whim to mix it up. Gamed it once. Hated it Sat in the club room until I finally dumped it to clear space.

Mizuno 921 hot metal pros, bought them last week. Horrible clubs, took them back after one range session. Took a 300 loss rather than selling on Ebay or anywhere else lol. Ordered Apex Pros the next day, scheduled to arrive early this upcoming week 🤣

Where do I start?

My first Scotty headcover which was the 2007 Scotty Masters dog which led down a deep dark black hole.
Paying my entry to Aloha 2016 which led down this destination golf trip addiction some 5 years later (Sarcasm).
Vokey SM7 wedges, they were not anything like SM5's
Callaway Big Bertha Alpha Driver - Trash
SLDR Driver - I need a half dollar sweet spot, not a nickel
Fittings before 2017, both trips led to being told my current setup was better than what was tested.
Using new ProV1x balls at Royal Hawaiian, should have played noodles considering how many I lost.
Scotty Kombi - Was supposed to be the end all be all and felt like a hamburger attached to a stick. The only Scotty you would lose 65% off retail once the wrapper comes off.
Jones Ranger stand bag. The straps killed it for me and I used it twice.
Every teaching tool I've ever bought drunk because I never make/have time to utilize any of it.

Stay Tuned considering my current hag hasn't changed in 3 years but its time to just go full overhaul since the current clubs aren't making me any better so new stuff can't make me any worse!

As my name implies, I should be Titleist Forged only.

I've dabbled with too many other non Titleist Forged irons, all of which I have just sold and gotten rid of. If I could just have stayed loyal and faithful to Titleist Forged, I would have saved so much money.

I don't regret trying the DTC brands, or TM, or whatever, but I just end back up with a Titleist iron set anyway.

Also, I regret my Goodwood custom putter (and stamping my initials on it). I like the putter, but the shape is meh, along with the feel. Could have saved some money and put it towards a Circle T. Alas.

What else... trying some X stiff driver shafts when I clearly don't have the speed/ballstriking skills.

The Edel putter I got custom fit for - paid over $500 and the thing felt as light as a toothpick - fitter also disappeared after I paid and would never email/call me back. It too had my initials - quick $375 down the toilet.

This one strikes a chord and also reminds me of advice I got about equipment. It’s always easier to stamp some initials or personalize something later down the road than get them removed or try to sell. On my last custom putter, I left room for initials/nickname later.

Cobra Long Tom driver.... if you ever thought using that much of a longer shaft would be a good idea - think again. One range session and been a dust collector ever since.

I can name plenty of bad purchases but let’s start with something from this year. I was really excited for the TCBs especially in the raw finish. A set was available to me for a good price so I picked them up even though a few friends told me they didn’t feel as good as they should I have. The set finally arrived and I had to give them a try. The first few shots weren’t solid and it was really clicky. I based that off of not hitting them well. I finally put some good swings on them and they weren’t as soft as I thought they would be. As for distance, they were a good club shorter than the ZX7s I was using even when I bent them to the same lofts. They just wanted to spin. The one thing that really annoyed me was the way they were rusting. They didn’t even come close to the ones that Xander was using. It’s like they didn’t rust where they welded the face. These clubs weren’t in my possession for more than 24 hours.
