Jaybananapantsarthur Absolutely love it! I've had a pic saved on my phone of it for years, so small world that its yours. One of my favorites of all time.
Jaybananapantsarthur Love the cavity stamping.
damn. still waiting to add one to my collection. I feel so left out!!
These are all super clean, especially @Jaybananapantsarthur with the amazing cavity stamp. My eye has always been more drawn to the Newport 2/Timeless headshape so that's what I've got in the stable.
Here’s mine. Earned a time out today so not sure what I’ll be using next time I get out!
rrkman putterman heat
rrkman need more pics!
Must be nice having a 009. :sad face
Don't own this one but I do own the photography. Always enjoyed photographing, especially macro, when I was collecting. Thought it was neat to be able to see that letters/numbers were used to make some of the common stampings like the crown.
Jaybananapantsarthur best putter photographer in the business. Need to set up a putter coffee table book project.
jordanbost sorry, that’s pretty much all the excitement this one has. Cavity is pretty plain. I do like the mushrooming with the plating, makes it almost look liquid in the right light/angle. And the little ‘feet’ are interesting.
Jumbo Cavity, 350, Beach Slot, Nasty scratch along the top line from a sandy towel.
Putterho one of my all time favorites
Putterho Love the jumbo 009. 🔥
Does this count as an 009? Ongoing discussion since 2004.
Putterho is a scotydale a oo9? Me thinks oo9 is a shape, not a stamping 😁
Putterho this gets to count for whatever is wants 🥵
Jaybananapantsarthur One would think but we won't open up that can of worms again. 🤣
Putterho opened 😂 this is not a oo9 shape but is stamped oo9 and one of two examples of why I hold my opinion of shape vs stamping. To me, this is very distinctly a Anser (Newport) shape. Doesn't diminish a thing about it and one of my favorite putters that I've had the opportunity to photograph/roll some with.
Jaybananapantsarthur nice answer/anser.
rrkman My first Aloha Cup in 2016 at the Torrey Pines hotel/meeting area was the first time I encountered the infamous @Jaybananapantsarthur taking pictures of one of the the craziest collections of Circle T's participants had brought to the event. He had people holding up white boards to reflect light while using a smaller point and shoot creating epic pictures and memories of the flat sticks. One would have thought he was in a studio with some huge DSLR back then.
Putterho hard to believe he had time for that between the @$$ whoopings he was handing out to @Pure745 that weekend.
if I was a collector, I’d seriously pay @Jaybananapantsarthur to come photograph my stuff so that I could hang some of it on the walls.
