I actually have to wear a glove on both hands (Tommy Gainey-style) until we get a little humidity back in the air. My hands crack so badly in dry, cold air, it hurts to play golf all winter, yet I do so nearly everyday, despite the discomfort. The money I spend on bandaids, self-stick medical wrap and golf gloves for my aching/bleeding hands over the winter is a sizeable amount. Probably over $250 each winter. As we approach spring, my hands will begin healing and by June, I may not wear any glove. When I do wear a glove, I truly enjoy the feel of the FJ Pure Touch. But, at $30+ each, I limit myself to using them only during the summer, when I feel like I need a glove. In winter, I use FJ Weathersofs. They're a lot cheaper.
Just like new grips (which I replace multiple times per season), gloves can do wonders for your swing when fresh. Simply feeling that better connection between hands and clubs adds confidence in my opinion.
