I don’t have any connects to get on at the top tier clubs unless I pay up for a charity outing which turns into client entertaining, which means casual golf. Bethpage Black I can play anytime I want with a little effort, whether it is sniping a time, looking for cancellations, or just showing the early in the morning. It is just a lot of effort for a tough day of golf.

djaveragejoe You ain't lying! I've played out there in almost dead calm in the morning and raging winds in the afternoon. Absurd, but either way you get those phenomenal views. Just wish I could take a photograph like you when I play there.

chickenman13 we did Easter Sunday before Monday practice rounds at Augusta IIRC. Loved it. Bit in the middle of nowhere but worth every minute of it (and I'm not always the biggest C&C architecture fan).
