CKirsch Yeah, I watched a doctor on the news earlier explain all the technical jargon that has already been released. He suggested, based on the injuries and procedures necessary upon arrival at the trauma center, he is not totally out of danger, just yet. Infection still a concern. Process to detach muscle from bone to reduce excessive swelling evidently means a full recovery may be more challenging. But the process was necessary to save the leg from amputation. Yet, no one is betting against Tiger coming back to play golf at a competitive level, just yet. Realistically, at this point the message seems to be, "let's just hope he can walk normally someday, without too much discomfort or a permanent limp."
He gave it his best and came back from the depths to win the Masters in 2019. No one should expect more from this man. I will hope for miracles, and to see him play once again, but really I just want him to enjoy his life, whatever that looks like going forward. He has given me so many great thrills over the years, I can't ask for more.
