Yup. When I'm full bag I move over too stand bag. Just gets to be too much with the weight, club tangles etc. Even last night, 9 holes, I had 11 clubs and was irritated by it after 5 holes

Jaybananapantsarthur the things we do to make our golf stuff look good
I had an SL1 and it didn't last two rounds. Great aesthetics, but that's about it. Terrible strap and short on storage for this type of bag. I'm back to my Ping for now. The SL2 interests me though...
KentonQ Terrible strap and short on storage for this type of bag.
The strap is what really got me about the SL1, I mean, what were they thinking when they put something as pliable as a truck tire on as a strap? Everyone told me it would break in, but it never did for me, and subsequently, that bag was gone.
I don't carry a bag anymore due to neck and shoulder injuries, so in my case the best bag is the Titleist Sta-Dry with the 4-way divider on a push cart.
It's waterproof, fits on the cart nicely, and has good enough storage to carry all the extras.
OffTheDole I'm going to put my hoofer on my Clicgear 3.5+ for my trip upcoming as well... The Mackenzie doesn't sit well on a cart and I'm not always about walking, especially 72 holes in 48 hours.
GFore daytona. One of the classiest bag ever.
Here are my thoughts on single strap walking bags..
Jones player series is the best bang for the buck in my opinion.
Great storage, solid spine and comfortable.
Mackenzie is also great, I have a ballistic nylon that I game and it's held up great even after sitting with shipsticks for 4 or so days after a monsoon in Bandon. My only gripe with the bag is that the bag twists while carrying it, not sure what about the spine lets it twist but it's pretty annoying.
Love the look of my seamus bag but the limitation on pockets and the plain messenger bag strap are huge drawbacks for me. Don't game it as much as I would like for those reasons.
oh, I also only carry 10 clubs because I can be amazing and or mediocre with those same 10 sticks so all 3 bags stay pretty light for the most part.
oh and as far as playing in the mornings I don't think twice to lay my bag down.
djaveragejoe Yep, same issue on my Seamus bag. That strap kills it for me unfortunately. Love the design I came up with with one of their best and former employees and that beauty doesn't get nearly enough time in the sun as it should. Hell, I forgot all about that bag until you just posted about yours.
Was thinking of putting one of those seatbelt covers on my Seamus bag
Think we can get a TBC branded one made?
