IToldAlthea Do you carry a full bag? Even if you did, that's crazy that that happened. Makes me hesitant after seeing this and I only carry a half set in mine.

When the sl1 came out, @OneGrooveLow said that the failing point of the bag will be exactly what you took a picture of. Unfortunately this has happened to several bags. Politely raise hell, and according to their site, they have made changes to the 2020 version, I’m guessing the strap and that mounting point are parts of what was investigated.

I think the Ping Hoofer Lite is also pretty good if you don't want to splash the cash too much. They easily convert to a single strap, are nice to carry and offer more storage than you really need.
