This is what I got to grow up on.
Although the golf season is short in Minnesota, it was a blessing to have this through middle school, all through High school, and into college. I can't tell you the Ten's of Thousands of golf balls that were chipped/putted out there. There's also a lake to the left of the park in the background. I used to work at a golf course growing up, and the driving range was directly the right of hole #1. We cart kids got to keep all the "White balls" that come onto the driving range. I had 2 full city garbage cans of golf balls. I had my own person driiving range....
The big tree used to be tiny as well...and the trees down at the park start at 50 yards and are spaced perfectly every 10 yards out to 120. As you can imagine, my wedge game in my strong suite. lol.
Currently building a house on the golf course where I live. No immediate need for a setup like this, but might be nice to put a small putting/chipping green in the back yard.
