Where do I start? Been MIA from golf forums for years.. used to love this kind of thing but couldn't even tell you what the current models are from the past 2 years and haven't been golfing as much either. Currently a 3 handicap.. about 5 shots above where I was pre-kid. Insert a million of other life things, I've only been able to play about 20-25 rounds a year in 2018-19, and hit around 40 this year. Previous to that I was at minimum 100 rounds a year plus tournaments. I had a hand surgery and have been battling tendonitis in my elbow, my SS is still around 117-122 so I still have speed, but mishits hurt a lot. Right now I can shoot around even or slightly under, or 84 on any given day. Starting to play more so I'm starting to see the patterns in misses again and really wanting to improve my game and my equipment. Current bag: Epic Flash SZ 8 /Hulk 65 Epic Flash SZ 13.5 /Hulk 85 PXG hybrid 19*/GD Hybrid 95 Miura 501 4-P/X100 Miura 50,54/X100 Vokey 60V/LZ Getting fit today for irons.. woods will be later when new models are available to be fit. My shafts will definitely be graphite - so MMT or SF 110-115? For the first time I really have no idea what I will be fit into. I was really looking at a Honma combo set or PXG Gen3 set.. but I don't have time for another round of equipment "whack-a-mole". I do want a "cool" set of clubs, but I also want them to be more functional. Any suggestions, feel free to share. I'll report back with my fitting stats later this week.

Pure745 I joined there in 2006 and used to check it religiously. Now, I basically just get on there to see the WITB and this is the site I am checking religiously.

I think you should try the new Srixon ZX line of irons or just get JJ's old 745's to match your user name. I'm being slightly serious unless Srixon's aren't cool and then I will have to reexamine my WITB. 😆

I would second the ZX7. Other than that, I have a set of Yonex CB-301 irons which are really goo imo.

Putterho if Tai buys Srixons I will change to them as well 😂

I still browse WRX for the classified and the tour/pre-release stuff, otherwise the site is a bit boring/quiet now. Hence this place! Nice looking WITB and looking forward to seeing what you get fit into @Pure745

I’ve never been so wrong when guessing an outcome. Fun read that brought back the 2014 forum days. My tennis elbow is 85% gone and hoping it keeps getting better. Glad to hear the SF’s are easing the pain.

dbenick3 Honestly these (and the T100s) were so good, I wouldn't really mess with anything else. My ONLY concern is I do love the 501's in the short irons, I'm hoping I don't lose too much down low with these in terms of workability.

Still also undecided on whether I go P in the 4 iron.

dphatt Can't do the driving iron - probably stick with the T 4i. I have a hybrid for the 2/3i. Over driving irons.

I have always enjoyed reading your detailed reviews throughout the years on WRX and this is no different! I would suggest sticking with the T in the 4 iron the P looks a little large.

Not sure if you looked at this, but if you get the T100S and bend them to T100 specs, they end up looking phenomenal. That would be my pick of the two. But can't go wrong with either iron tbh.

Pure745 great write up man. I switched to graphite and my tennis elbow has gone away 95%. Still play like shit, but at least it doesn’t hurt. Can’t wait to tee it up with you again!

TFixer5 I have terrible tennis elbow. Did you get fit for the graphites? I've played a set of Fuji Pro 95 in the past but they just launched too dang high.
