I had my first match play round yesterday (gross tournament). I was GARBAGE off the tee. However, my iron play (I.e. my srixons) saved my Arse a ton. I was hitting 5 and 6 irons to within 6-10 feet and putting a ton of pressure on my opponent. Closed out 4 and 3 and I seriously only hit 3 fairways in regulation (with my 5 wood that went into play after such a terrible from 9). Mine are firmly in the bag for now.
