I've been taking some lessons, so I feel like it's time that I go get a fitting. Debating between Cool clubs in Irvine CA, or Club Champion. I've been putting it off, probably at the expense of my game, until I felt I had a decently repeatable swing. No clubs are safe. My long game has been suffering, so hopefully the fitting will help. I think I got in over my head with my Sim...thinking I should have gotten a Sim max instead. It's paired with a Ventus red, so I am able to get some launch, but I feel it's launching a lot lower than ideal. Also, the shallower face does sap my confidence a bit.
I really want to get into some fairways or hybrids I can be confident with. Iron game is okay, but maybe it's time to move away from my srixon 545s. Really loving the look of the 770s but we will see. Also really want to get fitted for my putter so I can have a baseline if I want to buy new putters.
Besides gear, I am hoping to play more than my usual 12 rounds a year, and hoping to take my daughter out to play more. She only has 2 more years until high school golf, so we need to get her more comfortable on the course rather than be a range rat.
