Review takeaway for me was more of “a refinement of existing” vs a complete overhaul. Not surprising 12 months later.
Agree, seems like a more forgiving, higher spin Sim. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Sounds like there’s no difference between the SIM 2 and SIM 2 Max
@geaux from what little I know about the sim max and the sim 2 they are probably fairly close. The sim max was draw biased in my testing. However, I have not hit the sim 2 so these opinions are based on others reviews so take everything I said as a grain of salt. Haha
From what I heard from an agent who was at the photo shoot for the sim2. They basically said the sweet spot got big in the direction of low/heel to higher/toe
dbenick3 roughly same thing txg guys said in live fitting, “higher on the face doesn’t knuckle like original due to higher face height”.
My SIM2 stuff is scheduled to arrive this Friday. Why am I not excited?

I was trying to see how long it would take TM to build a SIM2 Max 9 degree. I am shocked that this is what it says. This is just the head that is making this back ordered and not the shaft.

Wow. My experience with the stock Ventus blue 55g stiff flex (bc they weren't offering x) in the SIM2 Max was moon balls .... in between a few wild "push cut block fades" off the planet. Oh, and the occasional grounder to the first base side.
