ForeLeft been a while since I’ve rolled a GSS. Dense hit for sure, I think the pyramid milling softens it a touch. Carbon is my preferred material but will look forward to getting acclimated with this one.

      Thinking about moving on from the 770s after this season. Should’ve never sold the CB-57s.

      Ferrules need to be turned. Whoever the previous owner’s “club builder” is that built these did a shoddy job with them.

      Chipped around the house and you don’t know what you’re missing until you go back to a fully forged head. 770s were decent but glad to be back in a forged head.

      Probably paid a little more than I should have as they appear to have more play on them then advertised but I still got a decent deal on them with the shaft upgrade.

      Have a ZX Utility 3 iron coming at some point. After I dropped the 2 iron, and the 5 wood going longer than I had anticipated I’m looking forward to tightening up that 30yd gap some.

      Can’t wait to hit some balls with them. Most likely won’t be until Friday when my other incoming shows up.


      Just can’t help myself sometimes. Going to see if it’s worthy of a driver slot for tighter course set ups. Don’t really care about distance but rather how much control it has.

      Been debating cutting my Autoflex down to 45” because I’m not middling it like I did with a 44.5” set up and 46” feels so foreign to me still. Before I do that, it’ll be interesting to see how this works out.

      This experiment is not going too well at the moment. May give up on it shortly.

          Little overhaul on my TeI3. Custom Shop sent it back saying they won’t do any loft/lie months ago. Put it back together tonight so I can get it adjusted at PGASS next week.

          Went KBS CT Tour that was in my Swag and topped it off with an SSC grip.

          Going to lead tape this sumbitch when the adjustments are made.



          Took this guy to the range tonight. Haven’t swung a club in a month or so. No data but I loved what I saw. Hit the 975D a fair bit as well. The overall performance jump between that and the R5 is shocking. Between the R5 and SIM2 Max, not very apparent by eyeball. I’m sure LM data will prove otherwise but man the R5 certainly seems to hold its own.

            titleistforged The chase is fun. Be patient and get the best one you can find. I think you’ll find the performance to be acceptable in today’s game. To me the 975 isn’t relevant any longer but the R5 is which in turn should make the 580 as well.
