I’m in the process of building my dream garage home build shop. As a tinkering fool what are the most important things you would prioritize in starting?

I just completed a work bench for my garage shop. Easy to source everything but really wanting a quality bending machine which is little harder to find. Excited to be able to mess around with my gear when I want how I want!

Regripping would be my first two tools. Lie angle would be nice but if I had a machine, I would check my iron lofts every damn round.

Be on the lookout as some of these local golf shops go out of business. Got my whole set up, including Mitchell loft and lie for around $200 during the last recession

BISON_GOLFS_EVERYDAY Genius ....... that’s along the lines of how I started accumulating stuff that I didn’t know how to use. The garage build shop is almost complete, will post pictures this weekend. New accra iron shaft build care of @dphatt will be 98% in the bag this season. 👊🏼

I was thinking of doing this too. Golf works has a starter set of most of the equipment and supplies for less than 900 us. Check it out. ( it’s 1300 here in Canada)

Whatever space you think you need: Double it 😅

I had a Golfworks kit and still use some of it. The loft and lie machine is a big purchase but dont buy cheap.
Wish I had a stand for mine but cant justify it.

dphatt older steel club signature with only one measuring side that you move from left to right. Digital golf mechanix swingweight scale.

dphatt For swingweight I do as I have built my clubs down to the 1/10th of a point. its also super easy to calibrate with the weight thats included. For loft and lies I personally prefer the traditional mitchell machine as it really never needs calibration.
