Let's face it, my bourbon collection has dwindled down since March when the kids were stuck at home with me for 171 days straight. Lately I have resorted to cocktails to get my fix and keep my sanity. Yesterday I saw TPC Sawgrass advertisement for their Hole 19th drink of choice The Sawgrass Splash in honor of their 40th anniversary. That being said I need some new go to drink recipes to try and figured who better to ask than the gallery here. Anyone have a favorite for either on the course or at home? I will also patiently wait for the Transfusion Lord @mattybeyel to post his favorite transfusion recipe. To kick things off I'll start with a Sawgrass Splash recipe that is always great on a hot sunny afternoon when you need that refreshing citrus thirst quencher!

Sawgrass Splash recipe: – 1 1/2 ounces Grey Goose Orange – 3/4 ounce lemonade – 1/4 ounce orange juice – 1/4 ounce lime juice – Shake and pour over ice.

Azalea Cocktail 🌺 Ingredients 2 ounces lime juice 2 ounces pineapple juice 4 ounces vodka ¼ ounce grenadine Instructions Freshly squeeze lime juice. Fill shaker half way with ice. Add lime juice, pineapple juice, vodka and grenadine. Strain into highball glasses or mason jars filled with ice. I hope @KDBeach doesn't mind that I used my moderator superpowers to add this to his post but he's spot on with the Azalea Cocktail. It just brought back great easter memories this past April. - Putterho

Transfusion really should only be made one way: Fill your cup 3/4 the way with ice; Make it at least a double in terms of your vodka adding; Fill the remainder of the cup with Ginger Ale (NOT SPRITE) up to about an inch from the top of the cup; Add grape juice to top it off (maybe throw in a lime if you are feeling saucy). As for club drinks...non bourbon related...our club is notorious for making VERY strong Greyhounds for morning rounds. Simple enough: Ice LOTS of vodka Top it off with grapefruit juice If you don't like a LOT of vodka...you probably shouldn't order one at my club.

DaHOF A Greyhound? Sounds like a quick buzz to get rid of any stiff muscles. I'll be trying this one out soon enough. T-Minus one hour before the Sawgrass Splash gets concocted and consumed.

Drink of choice is a transfusion. Unfortunately there’s only one other member that drinks them with regularity (his preference is more grape than ginger ale which I disagree) so cart girl doesn’t always carry proper grape juice.

When unable to have a proper transfusion poured, I’ll opt for Tito’s and lemonade or a Golfers Delight.

Bay Hill Hummer ☂

1 oz Vodka (Kettle One)
1 oz Dark Creme De Cacao
1 1/2 oz Brandy
3-4 Scoops Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Add all ingredients into a blender
Blend until smooth
Pour into a chilled glass
